Done deals: High life on lower Lex

Developer Ziel Feldman is celebrating a record-breaking sale at his 88&90 Lex.

ZIEL FELDMAN

The chairman and founder of HFZ Capital Group just announced his firm has sold the last remaining penthouse in 90 Lex for $9,716,507.00

Originally listed for $11 million, the sale is the most expensive ever on lower Lexington Avenue. (Harry Macklowe’s 150 East 72nd Street aka 993 Lexington holds the record for the whole avenue with a $15.27 million penthouse sold in 2014.)

“This reflects a major milestone that demonstrates the thoughtful design, desirable amenities and ideal location our buildings offer,” said Feldman

Located inside 90 Lex, Penthouse A is a four bedroom, 4.5-bath corner home crowning the top of the building and featuring its own private courtyard.

It was bought by an LLC connected to Sun Capital Partners, a private equity firm that has invested in everything from Johnny Rocket’s restaurant chain to Point Blank, the bulletproof vest maker.
