I’ve got a few concrete questions

I’ve got a few concrete questions. The “pros” at Home Depot couldn’t tell me anything “concrete”. I’m about to pour a 4″ concrete pad for a lean-to next to my building. I just had the #57 gravel dropped in and I’m in the process of smoothing it out to an even height. My first question is how close do I have to get it? I’ve been stringing lines across from the outside form to the top of the rubber expansion joints on the building and measuring down but I’m constantly encountering places with 4 1/2 inches, 3 1/2 inches. My next issue is that right up next to the building there isn’t enough room in between the bottom of the expansion joint and the original footing of the building for 4 inches of rocks. Is it OK to have a 6″ wide line halfway down the building with only 2 inches of rocks under the concrete? Next question is if my tube of expensive rebar anchoring epoxy got 5-10 degrees colder than its storage temperature a couple nights in a row is it ruined? Another question on the epoxy (tying in the slab to the concrete blocks of the building with rebar) is do I really need at least 90psi to blow out the holes I drill? My compressor isn’t that powerful. I’m a beginner with this stuff and the person who was doing it for me went on a bender and can no longer be relied on.
