How to safely reach light in high vaulted ceiling ?

I moved to a new-to-me home that has super high ceilings where one of the can lights was out during inspection. I figured it would be fine and I’d just need a telescoping pole to reach the bulb and replace it. Wishful thinking maybe…. I got the pole and when I pushed up on the bulb, the entire fixture pushed up with it. I was able to remove the bulb, but now the fixture isn’t sitting correctly in the ceiling opening. I’ve included a reference pic for location as well as a zoomed in shot.

The height is over 20 feet (2 story with vaulted ceilings) and its about 5 feet from either wall, so even with an extension ladder, I don’t think I could safely reach to it.

Other than scaffolding, is there a tip or trick I’m not thinking of? Despite likely being a ‘simple’ fix, is it worth getting an electrician or handyman out to do it?
