As you can see in this picture, my bathrooms shower arm has a larger thread size (left) than the standard shower head thread size (right). I went to Home Depot to look for shower heads that come in larger thread sizes, but apparently they only sell standard sized. I found a couple 90 degree elbow reducers at Home Depot (1″ to 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ to 1/2″), but the 1″ is too small for the shower arm and the 1 1/2″ is too large. I’ve never had experience with shower heads that weren’t standard sized, so hoping someone could share their experience.
