Speaker Design Porsche GT3 RS – Need Good Bass Morel MW9, Dynaudio, JL Audio?

Hi All,

I am having a really time and could certainly use a helping hand with the bass in my setup.

Vehicle:
2020 Porsche GT3 RS (my dream car)

Current Equipment:
JL Audio 900/5 Amp
Morel Limited Edition Tweeter and Carbon 6.5”
Addison Bit One
JL 10TW3

I ordered the base stereo as it doesn’t use fibre and can easily be upgraded.

Music Preferences:
Hip Hop 50%
House 30%
Classic Rock 20%

Sound Deadening:
The car has been treated with substantial sound dreading in the doors and the floor pan.

Current Problem:
I purchased a JL Audio 10” TW3 but it is too big for a custom footwell enclosure (makes a farting sound) and when placed behind the seat in the JL enclosure it rattles the inside of the carbon seat which I am not able to take apart. I put the same sub and enclosure in the footwell to test the seat rattling and there was no issue but no space left isn’t he footwell, so I am going back to the drawing board and sending back the sub.

My audio shop said a JL 10TW1 might fit in the footwell, but it might need even more space than the enclosure originally made.

Help Please Woofer Selection?:
Doors:
The doors can accommodate a 3 way setup with up to a sub/mid bass 9” driver (like the Morel MW9 which I know fits) along with an Esotar 430 mid. I am not sure if this will delivers enough bass though? Are the MW9 Morels the best option for bass in the doors?

I also know some of the 8” slim under seat subwoofers would fit in the doors (Focal, Audison, Earthquake, etc). Is this better than the Morels?

This option will require not using my morel 6.5” and a different amp but if that’s the best option, so be it. I could go with the Mosconi 8 channel and the Esotar 430.

Special Enclosure in the Footwell (image included):
I came across this in my online research by a company called Sound in Motion located in Boston. They use a Illusion Audio Sub 10” Sub I believe. Is there a better sub and option for something like this?

I could really use the help on what is the best option for good bass in this car.

Morel MW9s or something better in the doors in a 3 way setup?

Is there a clever option for the footwell that will accommodate a single subwoofer driver without eating up the whole footwell?

Thank you all very much for help!
