Because I’m an idiot I didn’t feel anything weird when screwing this lamp into the socket. I didn’t screw it in the socket at all, but in between what I guess is the socket and the ‘ceiling’ surrounding it. I figured I could just screw it out again but doesn’t work. Breaking wouldn’t really accomplish anything, I think.

First week in my new apartment… this drives me up the wall and ceiling.
