I’m looking to do some prototyping with styrene and had the idea to use cheap acrylic dice with a magnet on each face to help hold parts at a 90° angle. The obvious issue with this is of course the dice are acrylic themselves.

My thought process was using a plastic bonding spray primer to seal them, add my magnets (drilled to be flush), and then clear the whole thing. In theory this seals it all against the plastic weld type glues (such as Weld-On #3), but I’m not sure.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation?
