Question about dryer vent
The house inspection report from when we bought our house says ” the dryer vent piping is corrugated aluminum which is not approved for permanent dryer vent installations and we recommend a plumber be retained to upgrade to 4-inch single wall metal for fire safety.” Can someone explain what this means because when I google dryer vents it seems like aluminum is acceptable. I’m not handy at all, so any advice is much appreciated!
