Forecast: A Cool Cy-Hawk Saturday, then heat
We’ve got a cool Friday night ahead, and you may need a jacket or sweatshirt if you’re out and about. Saturday will also see below-average temperatures, but nice conditions for a football game or any outdoor activity.

A ridge building into the Jetstream in the upper atmosphere will allow warm air from the south to move into the upper Midwest this week, with the warmup starting Sunday.
It appears a good chunk of the Midwest could see hot conditions through the middle of September.

As above, warm temperatures look to persist through at least the 20th. It appears precipitation chances may increase a bit in the 8-to-14-day timeframe.
