Marshalltown murder suspect dead after being shot, officials say
ANAHEIM, California — A Marshalltown murder suspect is dead after he was shot by law enforcement in California on Friday.
Marshalltown Police were searching for 18-year-old Victor Delgadillo in connection to a deadly shooting at a bar. On June 1 first responders were called to the Center Street Station Bar at 19 North Center Street for a report of a shooting. When first responders arrived on scene they found 41-year-old Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves suffering from gunshot wounds. Nieves was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
On Friday, law enforcement in Anaheim, California encountered Delgadillo during an investigation. According to police, Delgadillo was shot by law enforcement during this encounter. Delgadillo was transported to a hospital where he later died.
