Ten years of a perfect FWB situation. You slowed down contact with no explanation and then ghosted me. The first stipulation of this was no lies, and communicate. Nearly two years after the ghosting you wish me a happy birthday. You never wanted things to change you say. But still no explanation. I’ve told myself dozens of stories trying to placate my mind. Most of them feature me as the one who failed you somehow. But I never lied. I always communicated. I respected your other relationship as best I could in the situation (holding us in secrecy). As much as the ending has hurt me, it was still the best relationship of my life. I’ll always miss you.
