Hi there!

I just got my first new apartment, and the patio is pleasantly big 🙂

However, we are eye level with the trash compactor at our level a few dozen feet away, and we also have the entrance of the apartment right through the trees. We also have terraced neighbors like in the upper right hand side.

My boyfriends brother has bamboo we can use. I was thinking since those Amazon faux ivy walls are so expensive that this would be a good alternative.

I would really love to plant lemongrass and lavender as mosquito repellant and privacy plants, but the planter prices and wood prices are pretty high. Maybe just some hanging ones?

I’m open to all ideas! I’m looking to save money because I haven’t even bought patio furniture yet lol
