Man in critical condition following Des Moines shooting
DES MOINES, Iowa — On Sunday, the Des Moines Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot injury.
According to a DMPD post on X, around 1:51 p.m. the DMPD responded to 3400 Block of South Union on reports of a gunshot injury.
An adult male has been transported to the hospital in critical condition.
One firearm has been recovered. The suspect is reported to have fled on foot from the scene.
Expect an increased police presence as the investigation progresses.
