His tenure at Seth Thomas as a factory-trained repairman set him apart with the highest percentage of clocks repaired per quarter and the lowest rate of errors.

Clock repair is a family tradition for Fred, with over ten clock repairmen in his family. This dedication ensures the craft’s continuity for generations. Fred also mentors aspiring horologists, contributing to a skilled and knowledgeable community.

Fred received his education in clock repair from Ray Weil of Dallas Texas, and the Horology school at Mountain View College, where he graduated first in his class. He worked for ten years at Seth Thomas as a factory trained repairman in Texas where he personally had the highest percentage of clocks repaired per quarter with the lowest rate of error.
