Texas man killed in rollover crash in central Iowa
HARDIN COUNTY, Iowa — A Texas man was killed in a rollover crash late Thursday night north of Hubbard.
At around 9:54 p.m. the Iowa State Patrol responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Highway 65 and J Avenue. When first responders arrived on scene they found a single-vehicle on its top in the east ditch.
According to a crash report, 30-year-old Pedro Daniel Limon from Eagle Pass, Texas was traveling southbound on Highway 65. Limon was traveling at a high speed and when he came to the curve at J Avenue and lost control, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway into the east ditch and roll several times, the crash report states.
Limon died from his injuries at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
