Jackknifed semi partially blocks Highway 65 in Pleasant Hill
UPDATE 10:41am: Traffic is now open in one lane but significant delays are still expected in the area.
PLEASANT HILL, IOWA — Law enforcement and DOT officials are on the scene of a jackknifed semi that is completely blocking the southbound lanes of Highway 65 in Pleasant Hill on Friday morning.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes just south of the University Avenue onramp. A DOT traffic camera in the area shows both lanes of the road are blocked by the trailer which is still upright.
There is no word on a cause or any injuries. Expect significant delays if you are traveling in the area. This is a developing story.
