Car crashes into home early Saturday morning
DES MOINES, Iowa — More information is still waiting to be released about the driver of a car who crashed into a vacant home early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. yesterday morning. According to police, an officer spotted the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on E 30th and Walnut Street. The officer pursued and it ended near 14th and Maury Street.
Shortly after, that is when Des Moines police got a report of a vehicle wrecking into a home at 1006 Maury Street. Luckily, no one was in the home at the time of the crash. Police have not released the name or condition of the driver at this time.
