Weather Update: Storm Chances Through Tuesday Night
A few scattered storms will be possible into the evening hours, with more coming overnight into early Monday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed western Iowa in a slight risk area, with wind being the main threat from storms that may move in after midnight.
We’ll see a cold front move into a warm and humid airmass across Iowa late Tuesday into Tuesday evening, and that combination could kick off some stronger storms. For now, the SPC has us in a slight risk for severe weather during that timeframe.
