Des Moines police investigating drive-by shooting in Oak Park neighborhood
DES MOINES, Iowa — Police are investigating an early morning drive-by shooting in Des Moines’ Oak Park neighborhood.
Just after 1:30 a.m. Friday officials were called to the 4100 block of 9th Street on reports of an alleged shooting. Witnesses told police that someone inside a vehicle shot at the home multiple times.
Both a home and a vehicle were struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported from the shooting.
Shell casings were recovered from the scene and police are continuing to investigate.
