How closely matched must the grout color in a repaired area be before doing a color refresh?
I am planning to refresh/recolor the grout in our tiled floor using Mapei grout refresh. I am planning on using a lighter color than the current (dirty) grout color. There are a few areas that I first need to repair the grout. My question is how closely matched must the grout color be in the repaired sections before I do the refresh (for it to not be apparent after the recolor). Any other tips to have this come out looking good? Is it necessary to clean the grout in a particular manner before applying the product?
