Sometimes we tell each other what we want to hear.
Sometimes we grow frustrated at others not doing the work we should be doing ourselves.
We all do our best to excuse ourselves and grant amnesty to those who fail to challenge us.
We can easily forgive others trespasses, as long as it benefits us and doesn’t disrupt our world view.
We can do better, just as soon as that other person starts being better too.
Otherwise, we might end up standing out from the crowd and be mistakenly identified as leaders.
And we wouldn’t want people making that mistake…
