TF Cornerstone welcomes organic market to LIC waterfront tower
TF Cornerstone announced Prestige Marketplace has signed a lease for 2,967 s/f of retail space at 4545 Center Boulevard.
The location (rendering top) will be Prestige Marketplace’s first in Queens, joining additional locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
“This latest partnership is further evidence of TF Cornerstone’s dedication to Long Island City’s growth and vibrancy,” said Steve Gonzalez, Senior Director of Retail Leasing at TF Cornerstone. “By bringing in another respected retailer like Prestige Marketplace, we will continue our work in fostering a fully amenitized and diverse community where every resident can thrive.”
“TF Cornerstone’s buildings and large tenant population drew us to Long Island City, specifically 4545 Center Boulevard, and we are confident that Prestige Marketplace will be a great addition to the building and the neighborhood as a whole,” said Bejad of Prestige Marketplace. “Our store offers a variety of products which include a full line of organic inventory, a deli which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and a 24 hour grill, natural juice bar, a salad bar with over 100 toppings to choose from, and much more.”
Prestige Marketplace has been operating in Manhattan since February of 2004, and opened their first Brooklyn store in 2020. The Long Island City location is the first to open in Queens, and is expected to open their doors in January 2022. The local grocery will be open for Long Island City residents 24 hours a day, and patrons will be able to enjoy the views of the Manhattan skyline by dining along the waterfront.
4545 Center Boulevard contributes modern rentals on the Long Island City waterfront, with studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The building offers 50,000 s/f of indoor and outdoor amenities, including two tennis courts, fitness center, beach volleyball courts, a children’s playroom, a landscaped roof terrace and indoor lounge & club room.
Steven E. Baker, Thomas Galo, Lee Block, and Jason Stein from Winick Realty Group represented both TFC and Prestige in the execution of the deal.
