The top 25 vinyl shops shipping for Record Store Day
Anyone who loves vinyl knows the smell of walking into a record store or the weight of the albums in your fingers as you flip through the bins. Record Store Day this year is particularly important because it’s not just about snatching up that limited drop, but more about supporting our local shops to help get them through this difficult time.
While you don’t get the smell of the store and feel of the bins online, we wanted to highlight a list of independently owned shops that offer shipping. Some have a standard online store, some use a third party web shop, and others have a list online and you can contact the store directly to arrange shipping. We’ve also created a collection of these businesses that you can bookmark to help you find that missing grail from your collection.
Methodology: This is an all-time list of the top record shops according to Yelp using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. We then identified businesses that offered shipping and featured the top ranked business in each state.
