I need to pint my poor deck. I read that deck restoration paints chip after a short amount of time but my deck is in SUCH bad shape right now I don’t know if normal pint or stain will help it.
Any advice is appreciated. I would include an image but the auto moderator keeps banning my image posts.
Options are to use rust oleum and fill in the cracks of my very old wooden deck. And likely face peeling issues after hurricane season passes. I’m in Florida by the way. Or the other option is to invest in good paint like Benjamin Moore do all the prep work power wash and restore and even takeoff the current stain, and then restain it with arbor stain or their heavy duty deck paint and hope that it lasts more than a couple years. I don’t know what to do I’m a girl I need help. I am doing this myself because every contractor here is trying to take it vantage of the stimulus and charge me an arm and a leg just to paint my deck.
