Sketch released of suspect in attempted sexual assault in San Juan Capistrano
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Orange County sheriff’s investigators Wednesday released a composite sketch of a suspect who attempted to sexually assault a woman in San Juan Capistrano.

The 48-year-old woman was targeted about 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a business in the 27000 block of Calle Arroyo, according to Jaimee Blashaw, a spokeswoman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect attempted to drag the woman near a trash bin to sexually assault her, but she fought back and escaped, Blashaw said.
The suspect is a Latino man in his mid-40s, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing about 200 pounds. He has a mustache and goatee and was wearing a blue Dodgers hat, black T-shirt and khaki pants.
