Attic Storage Floor Sheathing Thickness?
Can I get away with using 7/16″ OSB to sheath over the bottom cord of my trusses that are spaced 24″ on center? 3/4″ T&G is normally used for floors but that seems completely overkill to throw some very light storage into the attic. The only heavy loads up there will be when a person is waking/crawling around. I was thinking about using 7/16 OSB with some panel sheathing clips to help with the unsupported edges. Basicly just like a roof is sheathed. Any thoughts?
