Making picture frames
I’m currently making my first woodworking project and I’ve decided to make a picture frame to hang a set of 3 posters (they’re between A4 and A3 in size). I’ve sourced the wood (cheated and got the pre-routed picture frame wood from Bunnings), and am in the process of cutting and praying the angle’s okay!
Thinking of the next steps and there are two things I’m trying to work out:
-
what cardboard to use and how to cut it to shape for the 3 posters?
-
has anyone had experience buying glass online (for example at a place like this: https://www.frameshop.com.au/)? All the local glass shops in my area aren’t open on weekends, and online seems like it’s reasonably priced and customisable.
Any advice would be welcome!
