vintage door, flaky lead paint
Girlfriend bought a vintage door to use as a background for some decorations, I was sketched out by the flaky, presumably lead paint, tested it and it is confirmed lead. She still wants to find a way to use it. Would removing all the flakes and heavy coat of poly all over get it to acceptable safety levels, if not any other process other than suiting up and sanding it bare? Thanks
