17 years ago I had a custom mirror with two floating (UV glued) glass shelves installed in a bar area. This summer I came home and one of the shelves broke and 2/3 of it fell off. I am not sure what caused it, no one was home.

Anyhow, wondering if anyone knows how I can remove the remaining piece of shelf. The same glass company will try and fix it but won’t guarantee the mirror won’t break. So I figure well why pay for that, I sure as heck can easily break the mirror for free 🙂 I would like to try and remove the last bit of shelf and UV glue remaining and just leave it like that. If the mirror breaks that’s ok I will just remove it and replace with stone or barnboard or something.
