So upon reading about Solar storm in 1859, I want to build one to protect my secondary electronics like phones and laptops. I suppose rubber or plastic pouch basis, few aluminium foil layers and then other plastic, rubber or cordura or maybe even steel casing on top for durability. Question is, how many layers of foil is enough? Are there any ways how to improve such design?
