2019 Yelp Phoenix Elite Celebration: The Yelpies at SanTan Village
On November 19th, Elites and their guests gathered for a jam-packed night of celebrating at SanTan Village in the East Valley. With wonderful partners and great company, attendees were in for a night to remember. Each year, we host the Yelpies award ceremony to not only acknowledge the amazing community, but specifically to highlight some of the best and brightest on the Phoenix Elite Squad. This year was extra special because we also celebrated Yelp’s 15th Birthday. Yelp would not be where it is today without the passionate group of locals that make up our amazing Elite Squads across North America and Canada!
Attendees were welcomed in the gorgeous Courtyard Pavilion at SanTan Village that was equipped with music by DJ Fred J, a beautiful balloon-filled stage thanks to Little Party Parlor, an awesome array of Yelp swag, a sparkling photo booth by Goof Booth, and more!
Upon checking-in, guests were handed a passport with specials good at 20 different spots located within the outdoor shopping mall. Participating businesses offered everything from an array of food and drinks, to mini spa services, discounts, and giveaways to everyone in attendance. Elites took fabulous photos along the way as they admired each shop and their beautiful decor, service, and offerings. After exploring SanTan Village, Elites gathered back together in the Courtyard Pavilion for an award ceremony where select Elites received acknowledgment for being the Top Reviewer of 2019, Top Photographer of 2019, Most Social Yelper, Yelp Elite of the Year, and more. Recipients were overjoyed and received great praise from the community for their well-deserved accomplishments.
As the evening’s festivities came to an end, party-goers indulged in a 15th Birthday cookie by Cookie Brokers, said their farewells, and most importantly, are so grateful to now be familiar with SanTan Village and the businesses that make it thrive. We want to extend a huge thank you to the participating SanTan Village community for welcoming us with open arms, and allowing Elites to experience the mall in all of its glory!
