Sub buzzing noise on certain songs.
Setup;
– Sock HU (0-62volume)
– JL LoC-22 (set gain to 40 on the HU volume with a 0dB/50Hz tone)
– JL 500/1v2 (set gain with a -10dB/50Hz tone)
– HU bass -1 / Amp isn’t using any bass boost
– Dayton 15″ HO
– 2cuft sealed box

With this sub I don’t even need the HU volume to go over 30. There’s no distortion even going all the way to 40 but with the volume on 30 on certain songs I get a loud buzzing noise. It scared the crap out of me the first time I heard it. At first I thought it was my cargo nets plastic clip hitting against the cone since the box was so close to the cargo door and the cone being metal but here’s a quick video I took tonight and it’s coming from the sub itself.
Also when I press the cone in I can sometimes get a scraping noise.
