I think this is a silly question, but here goes: I’m installing a replacement bathroom fan/light. I can connect the bare wire from the house to the green ground wires from the fan & light, but I don’t know where to screw them in – I saw a ground screw in the bracket of the fan I removed, but there is no screw in the new model nor is there an easy place to attach the bare & green wires to the bracket.

Do I just connect the 3 wires with a wire nut and call it a day?

Thank you very much – any time I work on electric stuff, I make myself a nervous worry wart & 2nd guess everything I do.
