I bought an unfinished headboard a little while ago and went to attach to the bed frame last night. There are nuts that are permanently in the wood of the headboard (3 per side). However, in the vertical direction I can’t get any two pairs of nuts to line up with the slots in the plates on the bedframe. I can lift the headboard and get the bottom nuts to line up, but then the next lowest nut is too high for the top slot on the frame and the headboard is floating off the ground. I can lift the frame to get the lowest of the two higher holes to line up with the top slot, but then the lowest hole is too low to line up with the bottom slot and the back wheels of the frame are off the ground. I’m kinda at a loss for what to do.
