Connection help

Just starting out in car Audio with a pretty basic setup consisting of

Pioneer 50w x4 headunit
Dayton audio dsp
pioneer gm d1004 D class amp
A set of cheap Pioneer components

I’m not into loud per say just looking for something with good sound quality for the daily 2hour commute, and want to keep it as stock as possible

I’ve got the front channels of the hu connected to the Dayton then 4 channels ( 2 mid/ 2 tweeters) going to the amp all via RCA

When I first fitted it it was ok but since I eq’d it it’s not as loud as I would wish
I have the gain on the Dayton at -8 so about 3/4 I think and with the hu at about 26-28 I would say is average listening volume, but I’d like to be able to get it a little louder
What are my options? Am I doing something wrong?
Would using the rear channel RCA’s from the hu to feed 2 of the channels into the Dayton help?
