Recently had to pull the carpet up in my living room, too much damage from kids and pets. Was pleasantly surprised to find original hardwood floor underneath. You can see in the photo there is some damage and some areas that had stain. I’ve been told I need to sand the whole room and started reading up on rental sanders (both area and corner). I’ve done a lot of work from plumbing, to framing, to electrical, but I’ve never refinished a hardwood floor before. Before I dive in to this blind I thought it would be a good idea to ask for some advice. Is there anything I should do or absolutely not do?
