I’m looking for a smaller form-factor tweeter that plays rather low, preferably 8 ohms as they’ll be passively crossed – hoping for 2500 hz. Trying to keep it to $150 or less, ideally.

I was spoiled by my old Dyn esotec 102 tweeters. They sounded great and were really easy to install. The dyns aren’t in the budget or I’d go back to them. Mids will be crossed around 250 hz, Dayton rs100-4 full-range drivers there. Big azz 6×9 CDTs in the doors for midbass duties.

Looking at the Morel compacts but an even shallower tweeter would be ideal.

I have 125 watts RMS on tap for them to exploit though that exceeds what the Daytons can technically handle, they’re bandpassed and should survive.
