A friend of mine recently moved to a cabin in which the water system functions via a small air compressor. The problem is that the compressor generates a fair bit of noise, which we are looking to reduce. We thought about building a small room/box with double walls and padded floor, but neither one of us are experts in noise reduction, so i figured i might ask here. Any advice in terms of material use, box designs or alternative solutions are appreciated.
