Creative way to install curtains?
Hi, hopefully this falls under DIY, not just crafting!
My bedroom is a converted office and has wooden double doors with glass in the middle. Though tinted, they let a lot of light through, and I can’t sleep if any living room lights are on as the light shines through my doors.
I want to put curtains over the doors to block out the light, but my landlord is very particular because the doors are antique and hand painted. I can’t install curtain rods because they would leave holes, and I can’t use command strips as it will damage the wood stain. My landlord suggested hanging curtains about the entire door, but I think that looks cheap.
Any creative ideas on how to install these curtains or make the glass panes more light-proof? It has to be temporary and removable without any signs of damage.
Edit: the panes are not deep enough to put tension rods up either.
