/r/DIY is STILL looking for more moderators!

Hey guys! We’ve had a sticky post for a while that we’re trying to expand our mod team. We’ve had some interest in it for sure but unfortunately we haven’t had any major success.

We’ve tried to bring in several people but ultimately they never responded.

I do want to mention here that we received quite a few good applications but unfortunately we had to rule them out for one of two reasons (or both!):

They said they would primarily be active on their cell phones. Sadly, moderating typically requires a computer. There’s some apps out there which have made it easier to perform mod functions on them but they’re still very limited for what we need.
They said they would not be willing to use our Discord server to communicate with us. Unfortunately we use our server to stay in touch as well as build friendships with each other.

So if you’re interested in modding please know that we do need people who can provide some time at a computer, and are willing to be in our Discord.
