So, it looks like I’m building mid and tweeter pods, which leaves me with three 3″ holes in my dash to play with. Has anyone tried running some little 3-4″ subs in their dash? Tang band has some that should get to 100db in the midbass range when running 3 off 60 watts. Not screaming bass or anything but enough to put it right in front of me and compliment the midbass drivers in the door panels. I can’t not Frankenstein. I think I’ll do it. Shouldn’t cost but $150 or so and an afternoon. Definitely open to suggestions if anyone has experience with a particular driver.
