I know I could 0ut a gate around the furniture (in this instanceTV stand) but I thought maybe there would be a way to build a mini baby gate custom to size to block a child’s hands from getting to open shelving on our TV stand. But it has to be moveable by an adult… and look good (enough).

Any advice on what could work? Just a wooden gate of sorts I’m thinking but what would best approach to some sort of spring loaded tension to keep it in place be?
