This week, Friendship Kitchen has begun slinging cocktails alongside Vietnamese fare, and Elvis Room has rebranded as Good Luck Charm. Friendship Kitchen
This warm, welcoming Vietnamese restaurant from Trang Nguyen soft-opened on June 1. The spot serves vegan egg rolls, fried chicken wings and cauliflower “wings,” bún bò Huế, cơm tấm, and lemongrass chicken bowls, in addition to cocktails like the “Fresh Off the Boat” (lime juice, kumquat, simple syrup, mint, coconut soda, and rum) and “White Man Tears” (rum, strawberries, simple syrup, coconut cream, lime, and young coconut shell).
