ARE YOU READY FOR ELECTION NIGHT? (Or perhaps more accurately, ready for it to be over?) As always, the Mercury Election Strike Force will be on the job with the latest local and national results, commentary from the winners and losers, and (of course) all the hot goss from election night Zoom parties!

We’ll be providing you with up-to-the-minute numbers from such local and statewide ballot measures as Portland’s police reform charter amendment, Oregon’s decriminalization of drug possession, the statewide pitch for legal therapeutic psilocybin, as well as the closest candidate races such as Wheeler vs. Iannarone, Eudaly vs. Mapps, aaaaaand those two nobodies from nowheresville, Biden vs. Trump.

And if you’re still undecided on how to fill out your ballot, don’t miss the Mercury‘s handy 2020 Election Cheat Sheet for instructions on how to think and why you should think that way. Remember: It’s far too late to mail that ballot in—but you can drop it off at an official drop site anytime before 8 pm on November 3.

So return to this page on Tuesday, November 3 at 7 pm, because the election night “fun” will all start RIGHT HERE. Join Alex Zielinski, Blair Stenvick, Wm. Steven Humphrey, Suzette Smith, and K. Rambo of the Mercury Election Strike Force for an evening of what will surely be nail-biting excitement! SEE YOU THERE!
