I want to buy a micrometer but I’m not sure what size I should get, maybe you guys could help me. The journal bearings on the crankshaft reads 50,xx on my digital calipers but I’m not pleased with the accuracy of it. The thing is that micrometers come scaled in 25-50 and 50-75 mm. I’m not sure which one I should get. I searched the web for the specs on my crankshaft to check its original diameter but couldn’t find if it’s above or below 50mm.
