Best 40 New Places to Eat in Charlotte 2019

Each year, we publish our Top 100 Places to Eat in Charlotte list (don’t worry, just like winter- it’s coming). This year, we thought it would be fun to also celebrate the newcomers to our restaurant scene.

Similar to the #YelpCLTTop100 list, this will not look like any of the others out there. We’re focusing on locally owned businesses. There is no outside influence on this, it’s pulled from Yelp data. That’s right, your reviews determined the best new spots that have opened in Charlotte throughout the last year. Eats on this list span across the Greater Charlotte area. Everything from a food truck cranking out killer Cuban finger foods and fast casual Vietnamese, to vegan and vegetarian world cuisine, off the beaten path hidden gems, and a local spot changing lives one cup of coffee at a time.

Check out the full list below! Get social with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using #YelpCLTBestNewEats when visiting these local eateries and be sure to share the love on Yelp.
