I have an interior laundry room door. A couple years ago I changed the hinges on the door. Ever since doing so, if the door is open more than about a foot, it will slowly open more and more until it eventually smacks into the wall. Unfortunately since the way the wall is angled, a traditional door stop won’t actually help. Ideally, the door wouldn’t swing open at all. For some reason, I noticed a difference if I tightened the screws in the hinges less (it swung open much slower when I did this) but it still slowly swings open. I don’t really want to bend any of the hinge pins but does anyone have any thoughts on how I can fix this?
